A person's inner world is marked by a free flow of thoughts and emotions that fluctuate and vibrate like currents and symphonies. I convey this movement with portraiture and abstraction. In portraits I am fascinated by the eyes, which I often exaggerate in size as a gateway into one's inner world. With abstraction, the elements of color, shape and line allow me to delve into my subject matter in a more loose, gestural manner.
